Chapter Three discusses Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”). What are the benefits of ADR? More specifically, what are some of the benefits you see ADR having in the business world today? Do you think ADR should be encouraged or do you agree more with the principle that everyone is entitled to having their “day in court?”

A good/excellent post should demonstrate a complete understanding of the week’s readings, assignments, and videos, if applicable. Further, you must respond to other student’s posts as well wherein you are expected to elaborate on those posts with your own thoughts or respectful disagreements. The responses to fellow student posts must be more then a mere “I agree” or “I think you’re right.” Rather, response posts must be of a nature similar to that you would have in person during a physical classroom setting.

A weekly discussion grade of “A” will require you to have all your postings completed before the deadlines (see Calendar) and demonstrate an excellent knowledge and understanding of the readings and assignments. Additionally, a response and question for one of your fellow classmates must be posted at least once a week. (Note: See respect policy above) Your opinions and thoughts must be thoughtful and supported with appropriate information from the readings or videos, if applicable. All opinions should be supported with specific reference to material from our readings and videos indicating the page number and/or section where you found the support. Every post should demonstrate a substantial amount of critical thinking in regards to that week’s readings and discussion question.
