In 1-2 well-developed paragraphs discuss one of the topics listed below. After you have posted your discussion, respond to the Discussion Topic posts of at least one other classmate. Feel free to engage in dialogue with more students if you wish.

  to aid you in analyzing ONE group of sinners in Dante’s Inferno. Use at least two of the four elements on the chart for your interpretation. You may consider whether or not you deem appropriate the punishment or the sinner’s placement in Hell.
• In the Pillow Book, we see the first person musings of a woman who actively pursues sexual partnerships with men. In the other two texts from this Unit that were written by women (The Lais and Genji), we see women through the eyes of male protagonists (Guigemar, Lanval, Bisclavret, and Genji). Choose one example from each of these three female-authored texts, and discuss the effect(s) of the male vs. female point of view.
