        • Include information about reproduction, life cycle, and how they acquire nutrients
        • Include examples of non-vascular plants
    • Compare seeded vs seedless plants
        • Include information about reproduction, life cycle, and how they acquire nutrients
        • Include examples of seedless plants
    • Compare gymnosperms and angiosperms
        • Include information about reproduction, life cycle, and how they acquire nutrients
        • Include examples of gymnosperms and angiosperms.


  • Create a slide for each of the 8 phyla in figure 27.5 in your textbook
    • Provide examples of each
    • Provide 3 unique characteristics of each
  • Describe Tetrapod adaptations that allowed them to colonize land.

Eukaryotes (broadly, includes protists)

    • Compare protists to the other eukaryotes (plants, fungi, and animals).
    • Compare the 4 supergroups of eukaryotes – provide a slide about each and an additional slide comparing them.
    • Using figure 25.2 in the textbook, describe the early evolution of eukaryotes.
    • Describe endosymbiosis and how multicellular life emerged. Include information about plastids and mitochondria and how they evolved.
