Case Study

St. Francis is a 200-bed Community Hospital located in a large metropolitan area in the poorest section. There is high staff turnover, significant numbers of employee complaints, and a 20% vacancy rate for nursing. In addition, senior leadership has just announced that due to environmental and regulatory needs, the budget will be cut by 10%.Utilizing the HR planning process in Figure 3-4 and the Guide on Developing HRM Plan, develop a strategic approach to address the needs at this hospital. Include the Key Inputs to the Healthcare HR Strategic Plan. You may create details, numbers, and figures as needed for your fictional hospital.
